The Phoenix

EMBERHEART is a B2B2C SaaS direction for wellness partners and an iOS communication-wellness app in development. Partner scope and release privacy details remain to be confirmed.

Why this constellation

The phoenix is a metaphor for warmth, renewal and beginning a conversation again. This brand association is our design interpretation.

Grounded in the actual sky

The illustration uses 8 named catalog stars from Phoenix. Their right ascension and declination come from the Yale Bright Star Catalog through NASA HEASARC. A fixed projection preserves their relative placement; the figure is fitted uniformly to the design. The lines are a simplified visual guide.

Sources and illustration method

The International Astronomical Union recognizes this constellation and defines its sky boundary. Connecting figures vary between traditions. This illustration is a selected-star design with north up and east left, using a gnomonic projection of J2000 coordinates.

Position credit: Yale Bright Star Catalog / NASA HEASARC. Project Constellation supplies the graphic composition and connecting guide. The illustration represents a fixed epoch and orientation, with illustrative star sizes.
